You saw their engagement photos on the blog recently - and here they are getting hitched. What a marvelous family they have - it was a warm and cozy affair full of so much love. Just a few in this post today...
Not quite winter, but you can feel it in the air...This little one was chilly in her little dress so our session was cut short, and she wasn't feeling too well either. She hung in there for us a little bit though, and here she is - a very sweet little girl...
A few days ago I did an engagement session for this sweet couple at The Mall. They were so sweet and fun to work with. I know they'll be happy together! I kept asking them to kick people out of our scene - ha! I've a.) never done that before b.) never had that come up before c.) I think that is so tacky d.) but this couple played right along with it! We didn't really disturb anyone, I hope!
Kudos to this couple for eloping in D.C. with great panache. Only 4 guests - their best friends...they descended on the city from Georgia and experienced the best an elopment in D.C. could offer. The Mayflower Hotel was simply stunning, but the ceremony site, The Tudor Place, might just be my favorite ceremony location in the city. It is a little piece of perfection. Congratulations to this gorgeous, stylish and picture perfect couple.
I photographed the most lovely wedding in Leesburg, VA today - a terribly charming little place. Theirs was a simple affair on the steps of the courthouse. The bride was a picture of grace. I think she'd make a fantastic movie star or first lady - her persona radiated warmth. I had such a great time in so many ways. I felt like I had known the couple forever -- they were so terrific.
