What's New in 2008

Portraits: What's New in 2008!
My repeat clients have certainly noticed that I have been evolving my product line and the services I offer since I began Jessica Photo. It has been a process of experimentation to find the best products, the best services, the best of what is out there along with a smoother workflow and, ultimately, finding my unique voice among the choir of photographers I stand amongst. This evolution has led me to me to a clear vision of what I want Jessica Photo to mean to my clients. I appreciate all my clients and thank you for coming along for the ride.

What is all this talk of an evolution? What I mean is: What does it mean to hire a professional photographer, and further, what does it mean to hire me instead of another photographer. These questions will be answered in the forthcoming literature in 2008 to be found on my website, in my collateral, when you speak to me for consultations and in the media.

I am very excited for what lies ahead in 2008 as I will launch a brand new chapter for Jessica Photo. It is a much more advanced, savvy and sleek new chapter. I have been in a state of heightened awareness soaking up a ton of new ideas and learning so many new things. I love photography and being a business owner because there is always so much to learn. That is an extremely important quality to me. Stagnation is death!

Here's the skinny:
*Advanced editing techniques for your images like the antique effects in the next post.
*Another album option for your Session Album by the album company Finao.
*A fuller version of the "Inspire Guide" that is much more comprehensive (order forms now included) - this is going to blow your socks off. It's so cool.
*A wide launch of the private portrait hanging consultation service that my associate Lyric Turner handles.
*Increased awareness for Jessica Photo in the media
*A new line of marketing materials that is sure to dazzle. Look for them at Dawn Price Baby! These materials will be absolute musts for every client to have on hand. New pricing guide, philosophy of Jessica Photo and what to expect when working with Jessica Photo.
*Along those lines: Increased awareness campaign for portrait display = why are you hiring a photographer?
*New basic package offerings including proofs - exciting!
*New pricing structure will be announced.
*New "Products" website - an entire website dedicated to the perusal of all my product offerings.

Weddings: What's New in 2008?
Not much new in the weddings department. There will be a few modifications and price changes but they are minor. Everything has been smooth sailing this year and I'm looking forward to a busy 2008 schedule. I'm beginning to book all the way into 2009 already, so that's exciting!

One new thing...I am going to create an extended/expansive welcome packet for new clients. This will include pocket pricing guides, idea guides, literature on displaying your photography and then some goodie bag items.

Hello to all my new 2008 clients! Can't wait to work with you....

I'm going to be bizzzzzy launching all these new programs! It's going to be a fun year!

Happy New Year!
Jessica

I love doing newborn sessions in the hospital. It is a really tender time. This little one is less than 24 hours old in these photos and he is one of the most beautiful newborns I have ever seen - truly. He's simply stunning.
